The Front Page is your site main page, in other words the page that visitors see when they directly enter your domain (www.yoursite.com).

Although Joomla! allows you to use any component output to render Front Page content, usually you will dedicate this area of your site to a certain number of articles selected by any criteria you prefer: for example the most recently published or the most relevant content.

There are two ways to set an article to be displayed on the Front Page.

1) While creating / editing the article by selecting Yes on the Front Page radio box



2) From the Article Manager (menu Content -> Article Manager in Joomla! backend) by clicking inside the Front Page column and turning the red cross icon into a green check mark.
